Top 10 Ads of Super Bowl XVII is a post from BrendanShick.com
Here’s my top 10 picks from the Super Bowl 2013 commercials in no particular order. Can’t say any of them are as good as some of my favorites from years past, but enjoy anyway!
M&M’s “Anything for Love”
Not really a surprise ending – more like you already know where it’s going, and you’re just waiting to see it.
Oreo Library Fight
Pretty sure everyone loved this one.
Star Trek: Into Darkness
All the footage from Star Trek Into Darkness (2013) has looked so good so far that it’s no surprise the Super Bowl spot measures up.

Doritos Goat 4 Sale
The Doritos Crash the SuperBowl competition has historically been at the extremes of hit or miss over the years. This one’s okay.
Taco Bell Viva Young Retirement Home
Not showing us it’s a Taco Bell commercial til the very end…genius.
That was a Taco Bell ad? Epic #win #LiveMas #SBcommercials #adbowl #SuperBowl47 #SuperBowlXVII

Iron Man 3
Great use of the “show us less” philosophy here.
Gagnam Style Pistachios
Sure, Gagnam Style is a little stale by now, but this still barely makes the top 10.
Tide: Miracle Montana Stain
Clever concept with a twist ending. Classic Super Bowl commercial recipe.
Samsung: Next Big Thing
Bonus points for splurging on a two minute spot.
Axe Apollo Send a Lifeguard Into Space – Or Something Like That
Spending extra money on the ad campaign to send someone into space…as if buying the air time didn’t cost enough. It got enough people talking about the gimmick to just barely push this one into the top 10.
BONUS PICK: Allstate Forbidden Fruit
I’m adding this one last minute. Another good example where you don’t know that product til the last minute.
